2nd Annual Loco Trash Bash Details:
Saturday, June 22, 7 AM to 3 PM; come for the whole day, or just for a few hours!
Cleanup along banks on foot, or float in your raft, kayak or canoe, or get a ride upriver in a jet boat to islands and sand bars along the river
Five (5) meeting points; choose the best for you:
Montopolis/HWY 183
Float from Motopolis/HWY 183 to Texas River School (4.4 miles)
Or, cleanup on the banks
This location will close at 10 AM
Trash will be picked up by truck at the end of the day

Pickup on banks or be shuttled across/up/down the river by a jet boat to a sand bar
More physically demanding to access river (not kid friendly), but lots of trash
A TPWD utility trailer for trash collection
Suggest wearing long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, and hat

Put in here if you have jet boat
Big Webberville is closed so not good for floats downriver
Get a ride in a jet boat up the river

Arrive whenever you can, meet section leaders at the table to sign waiver, get bracelet. Section leader will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, and directions
There will be plenty of trash bags and trash grabbers, or bring your own trash grabber to make sure you have one
Recommended:Gloves, hat, long sleeves and pants, sunscreen, bug spray, shoes that have toes, and your reusable water bottle
