Christian Farris
Originally from Midland, an oil town out in west Texas, Christian grew up traveling around the state and country fishing with his dad and brother. He got his first fly rod when he was 15 on a trip to Yellowstone, and the journey began. Christian graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries.
It was not until post college that Christian started to get serious into fly fishing; first starting at a fly shop in San Antonio, and then moving up to Jackson, Wyoming to guide. After five years trout fishing in WY, he moved back to Texas with his family.
Christian loves the education side of guiding and tries to teach something new to his clients, no matter how advanced the angler is. His goal is to show how important these places and resources are, and why they need protecting for future generations.
When Christian is not guiding, he is either being a stay at home dad with his two young children, or planning his next adventure. He is an avid bird hunter and watcher, big game archery hunter, and fly tier.
